About Samara Design

Jarrod McAleese, owner of Samara Design, started his career in 1993 after graduating from the Landscape Architecture program at NAIT in Edmonton. 

Immediately after graduation He worked for one of the most recognized design/build companies in Vancouver from 1993 until the fall of 2001 before deciding to start his own company.  During that period invaluable experience was gained in a range of aspects including client relations, design, project estimating, project management, as well as management of in-house crew.

In addition to programs taken at NAIT, BCIT, and Kwantlen College he gained extremely valuable construction knowledge while working for various construction companies while in high school and throughout college.
